Enhancing Skills for Implementing Specifications in Business & Research Contexts
The wider adoption of distributed computing technologies is intimately bound up with delivering real solutions and tangible benefits for enterprise and science. In order to do this, grids need to be interoperable through the development of standardised, transferable technologies.
A key part of this process is developing skill sets relating to the implementation of specifications developed by the Working Groups within OGF. OGF-Europe's In-depth Tutorials are aimed at honing skills to speed up that process by targeting technology develpers, end-users and newcomers from business and research communities. A related objective is demonstrating the benefits of adopting distributed computing technologies to business managers operating in diverse sectors.
