This multi-faceted event brings to the table top experts in distributed computing from around the globe. EGEE 4th User Forum / OGF25 & OGF-Europe 2nd International Event Value-add

EGEE 4th User Forum provides members of the grid community leveraging  the open source technologies developed by EGEE and various collaborating projects with an important opportunity to present their knowledge and experiences, discuss specific adoption benefits & challenges and learn about advances in middleware and application services.

OGF25 connects users, developers, and vendors at the forefront of distributed computing, underpinning the drive towards excellence and innovation for research and commerce on a global scale. OGF is the driving force behind the development of standard specfications ensuring interoperability bringing tangible benefits to users from a broad  spectrum of domains & sectors. 

OGF-Europe is spearheading diverse initiatives aimed at addressing key topics in distributed computing through the engagement of players from across Europe and worldwide. OGF-Europe's 2nd International Event will help connect user communities from specific sectors to capture  use cases, pinpoint best practices and foster valuable interactive discussions on key requirements. OGF-Europe Hands-on Tutorials will support the implementation of OGF specifications both in research and industry, with special emphasis on transferring knowledge to grid developers, users, IT decision-makers and business leaders. 

Who will attend?

This event aims to attract between 500-700 participants from  enterprise, government & research. The event offers an important platform to experts in distributing computing, vendors, application, software and middleware providers & developers, grid service providers, IT strategists & analysts, business leaders & decision-makers, domain-specific researchers, government representatices, students and the media.

Note:

Early Bird Registration ended 3 February 2009, but registration is still open!

Registrants can choose between online payment with a credit card (Visa and Master card accepted through PayPal) or payment by bank transfer. Full week registration includes conference material, two coffee breaks per day (except Friday), four lunches, a brunch on the Friday and two networking cocktails.
