OGF25
Several times each year, OGF brings together the worldwide grid community to discuss the latest developments in defining grid specifications and requirements and to communicate new ideas and best practices. During these 3-4 days sessions, OGF working groups discuss and advance draft specifications toward publication and Research Groups explore future trends and applications of grids in a variety of commercial and research communities. New groups and communities are proposed through Birds of a Feather (BoF) sessions and tutorials offer hands-on training and experience with grid implementations and technologies.
OGF25 event programmes seek to strengthen existing industrial and eScience communities within OGF, to provide a forum to foster new relationships and collaborations based on common interests, and to develop technical specifications related to distributed systems and grids.
OGF accepted session proposals for content that facilitates its mission of accelerating distrbuted computing adoption in both research and industry covering a wide range of topics allocated in the following sessions:
- OGF Chartered Groups to discuss and advance draft specifications toward publication and Research Groups explore future trends and applications of grids in a variety of commercial and research communities
- Birds of a Feather (BoF) sessions for new groups and communities
OGF will also be holding their OGF Area Meetings called by the Area Directors to meet with the chairs of the Chartered Groups in that Area.
