Network Providers

GARR is the Italian Research and Academic telecommunication network. Its main aim is to provide high-bandwidth connectivity and advanced services to the national scientific and academic community. The GARR network is planned and operated by Consortium GARR, a nonprofit organization created under the patronage of the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research. GARR promoting partners are the major Italian Scientific and Academic organizations: CNR, ENEA, INFN and Fondazione CRUI, the latter acting for all Italian Universities.
