Cloudscape - A Workshop Exploring Cloud Computing and its Impact on Enterprise IT

Focus
Cloud Computing from multiple perspectives: technology, policy & legal issues, and standardisation with speakers & panellists from the European Commission, enterprise (providers & users), EU policy bodies & research organisations. Themes explored include Market Perception & Analysis on Cloud Computing; top-level challenges, such as interoperability, policy, standards, Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and security; and enterprise usage of clouds.
The concluding Panel Discussion will serve to define clouds and pave the way for a Special Report on the current landscape with a view to driving or influencing strategies developed by policy makers, industrialists and researchers.

This 2-day conference will pave the ground for an annual European Summit on Software Services & Service Oriented Knowledge Utilities technologies by exploring the future of these technologies and their benefits. The conference will present the latest results of the ECSS (European Community of Software & Services) White Paper on Software and Service Architectures, Infrastructures and Engineering and of the Challengers’ Research Agenda and Roadmap on Grids, with the aim of fostering further discussions as we move towards new frontiers in software & services.
